At a time when unmanned technologies are gaining more and more importance not only in industry and security, but also in the public space, we are pleased to present our latest pilot drone prototype EAGLE.ONE in an exclusive report for Czech Television. The broadcast focused on one of our test flights that took place right at Císařský ostrov (an island in Prague) and gave the public a unique behind-the-scenes look at our development process.
During the filming, the crew was able to attend the entire testing process - from the preparation of the platform to the actual flight and analysis of the collected data. The reportage thus not only documented the technological progress we have made, but also highlighted the broader context in which unmanned vehicle development is taking place today. Drones are becoming an essential tool not only for inspection, mapping or transportation, but also for securing airspace from unauthorized objects. Our EAGLE.ONE platform, which is capable of autonomously detecting, tracking and, if necessary, disarming targets in real time, is definitely moving in such direction.
A substantial part of the report was an interview with our colleague, doc. Ing. Martin Saska, Dr. rer. nat., who introduced the technical parameters of our system, including its propulsion solution, precise navigation and on-board intelligence. He also mentioned the research and development challenges we face and revealed how the team works on test scenarios, data collection and integration of new technologies.
We are convinced that such media appearances play a crucial role not only in popularising technology, but also in the open dialogue between developers, the public and regulators. At a time when new frameworks for the safety use of drones are beginning to take shape and the debate on protection against their misuse is gaining momentum, we consider it important to contribute our knowledge, experience and concrete solutions.
We very much appreciate this opportunity and thank the entire Czech Television crew for their professionalism, pleasant atmosphere and for capturing not only the technology itself, but also the spirit of the team behind it.
The reportage is available for viewing in Czech at this link, where you can view the full material. We hope it will offer an inspiring insight into where the development of autonomous systems is going - and how we are collectively part of it.
